RN – Roll of Honour World War I

Until now there has not been a Roll of Honour of those from Northern Ireland who served in the Royal Navy and its related forces.

This memorial volume comprises 500 A4 pages, hardback, bound in leatherette with title cover in gilt.

The Roll is compiled from local war memorials, local news papers and other sources.

The information has been checked where possible with the National Archives, the Irish Memorial Roll and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Other sources include church memorials, the Presbyterian Church’s Roll of Honour, and the Masonic Order’s Roll of Honour.

Ex – service input RN Association branches and several Royal British Legions Branches also contributed information on personnel.

This is a unique resource which will be of interest to the ex-service community and those interested in family history.

Date of publication will be notified on this site and by e-mail from Remembrance NI.
