Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, 2nd Bn. Serjeant. 3515. Died 31/10/1914 at the Battle of Messines. Aged 23. Son of Thomas and Phoebe Cairns, of Ballygawley, Co. Tyrone. John worked as a labourer. He enlisted in Ballygawley in 1909 and was called up on mobilisation in August 1914. Ploegsteert Memorial, Hainaut, Belgium

RAF. 307680. Died 31/10/1918 of pneumonia following influenza at the Military Camp Hosp., Blandford, Dorset. Age 21. Enrolled 15/10/1918. Son of Mrs. Martha Alexander and the late Robert Alexander, Culnaman, Garvagh. Moneydig Presbyterian Church, Kilrea WM.

South Lancashire Regiment, 7th Bn. Private. 40955. Died 31/10/1918. Prisoner of War. Son of Michael and Margaret Corrigan. Edward was born in Clogher about 1893. Michael Corrigan was a farmer. The family lived in Carryclogher. Hamburg Cemetery, Hamburg, Germany. Clogher WM
