May 21 – Roll of Honour. Bangor brothers costly RAFVR service

Geoffrey and Eric Bowman were both lost flying in WW2. Three NI submariners from Bushmills, Ballymena, and Greencastle die as their ship is attacked in tragic mistake. Both veterans today are from Coleraine. Timothy Carroll survived the Battle of Jutland in WW1. Air Vice Marshall Cecil Beamish and two brothers served in WW2. Brigadier Pat Scott’s comments at the end of war for Irish Brigade in Austria.
