In its service with the BEF 3 (Ulster) AA Brigade didn’t include 9th (Londonderry) HAA Regiment which had been deployed to Egypt in November 1939, the first reserve unit to be posted overseas. It was also to have the longest overseas deployment of any reserve unit in the Army, not returning to the UK until September 1944.
