Remembering nine from NI who died on this day. In WW2 William Hanna an Ulster Rugby player dies leading a company of the Royal Ulster Rifles at Centuripe and RAF aircrew John Hynds from Maguiresbridge and William Hynds from Belfast die in the Far East. Photo – One of the most famous photographs of the First World War taken on the second day of Passchendaele.
