November 5. Lord Annesley RN, fought in air and on land. Roll of Honour

Included in today’s Roll from WW1 are Lord Annesley of Castlewellan a naval aviator, James Gaston a medical officer from Cloughmills awarded the MC, and Elizabeth Watson a QA nurse from Dromore. From WW2 are a naval signalman lost in battle with German pocket battleship Admiral Scheer and a special forces SOE Liaison Officer with Russian N.K.V.D.
