In today’s Roll, the entries for Archie Kennedy from Belfast and Hugh McMullin of Clogher in 1915 reflect the cost of the Gallipoli campaign. 1917 entries are mainly from the battle around Cambrai. Coleraine men William Watton and his Uncle James Watton enlisted on the same day and had consecutive numbers. James died this day in 1917 at Cambrai. Annie Gardner from Stranocum was a Sister in the Queen Alexandra’s Army Nursing Service. She is remembered at the Brockwood Memorial.
