Sergeant James Henry Jackson, M.M. and Bar, from Londonderry died serving with the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, resisting the 1918 German offensive. On the same day George Cargill from Derry, William Mawhinney from Ballymena and James McGrady from Belfast died in HMS Gaillardia when the ship hit a mine. A Coleraine Gunner’s Mediterranean meandering in WW2 is featured. Lance Bombardier Bobby McDonald after a spell in hospital was separated from his unit and was trained as a Regimental Signals Instructor.
