
After crash landing in Belgium, Belfast RAF man, Walter Berry, stayed from May 44 until liberation with the underground. In 1944 North Irish Horsemen, William Hill from Portrush and Archie Jackson from Londonderry died in Assisi, Italy. On the same day, five RUR died in Normandy.
