July 13. Belfast husband awarded VC today in 1945. Roll of Honour

Ted Chapman from Wales survived the Belfast Blitz with his sweetheart. They married. He won the VC in Germany. Read their story here. Joseph Taylor from Doagh was taken prisoner at the Somme on 01/01/1916. He died two days later in the military hospital in Minden Prison Camp, Germany, from tetanus caused by a wound. James McFadden from Dungannon died serving with the Parachute Regiment in Sicily in 1943. Royal Ulster Rifleman James Moffett from Ballynahinch and Hugh Lindsay from Crumlin died in Normandy in 1944.
