13 records form today’s Roll. Three of the six men who died on this day in 1918 were serving with colonial regiments. Four RAF WW2 fatalities are recorded. Photo – of a portrait of Lt Col HEN Bredin DSO, MC, OC 2 London Irish Rifles, in1944. He wrote – “I want to convey to you how much that I feel that my DSO is a tribute to the Inniskilling rather than a matter of personal consideration.
