September 11. Journalist in North Irish Horse in WW1. Roll of Honour

Robert Sterling from the Belfast News Letter and the North Irish Horse left a unique record in his correspondence from 1913 – 21. Veteran William McIntyre from Portstewart served with the artillery and was gassed in WW1. Douglas Alexander from Coleraine served in submarines in WW2. Alex Green from Craigavad fought in the Battle of Britain and later died over France. Those remembered today came from Caledon, Randalstown, Lurgan, Portadown, Belfast, Holywood and Coleraine to do their costly duty to King and country.
